I completely agree with you. When I first listened this song I didn't feel anything magic at all, it doesn't mean it was a sad, bad, boring... song. It happens the same with paintings, sculptures, photos... When I see some of them I can decide, in just few seconds, which one I prefer, so it cause on my a particular feeling(I can look at it for hours). Despite of the fact that all of them are art works, you aren't forced to like them. I don't think this song is sad, I don't simply feel like listning to it again. Have you ever thougt what would happen if all people liked the same things (the same dish, colour, hairstyle, clothes, sport... man, woman?
I have liked very much although I had never listened before,anyway, like you said in other post comment, music is subjective thing ,so ,in my opinion there are other song of the same singer which I like more.for instend; -You and I -Tru love will find you in the End.
This is one of my favorite bands, I love every single song/album they´ve put out. The most romantic and spine-tingling song by them is probably ¨on and on and on¨ on their Sky blue sky album. Let me know what you make of it...
