Testing week

This is to wish all of you good luck in the tests you´ll be taking next week !

Remember Cindy will be available at her club all throughout the week for you to practice oral skills. Her schedule is posted on the bulletin board, opposite the teacher´s office. It´s always a good idea to warm up instead of  "jumping into" the speaking test.

Classes will resume to normal after the tests, that is, Monday 26th for 3A and Tuesday 27th. for 3B and 4. I´´ll see you in regular classes and in the tests.

Jose

  2. Hi Jose at last we have finished our exams, this afternoon have been the last one . Wonderful the text about the dolphin, what was doing a dolphin in a river? Why was injuried?, what is a garden hose?( i know it because i've looked up it in the dictionary), everybody thought that was a kind of fontaine , pool etc...the dolphin was male or female , the expert in marine mammals don't say anything about this. And the listening......... The expert in clothes who spoke in a very strange language, I'm looking forward to know the answers. See you

    1. All of you were really prepared for the test. I´m really proud of all of you!

Remember, sometimes impressions are deceptive! I´ve already graded some of the tests in your groups and they came out really well.

Enjoy a very well deserved break now!
      Jose

    2. Did you say a break ? Are you sure teacher? I am looking into different recipes so I'd like to pick up an easy and delicious one for the contest. Apart from that, I am reading "The Grapes of Wrath" and during the process I am looking up some words in the dictionary wich I try to retain in my mind.

It is probably I am a bit loopy with English language but what I think is I've got used to it as something important for me, although I know I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. As I am so positive and I like studying it I expect to improve the skills about it.

  3. Silvia,

You´ve improved a lot, you´re doing a great job! Learning a foreign language is not an easy task and you never stop picking up new vocabulary and phrases along the way.

I hope you enjoy reading "The Grapes if Wrath", I think it´s a really interesting book, reflecting a very important part of american culture.
